Let me start buy saying, I have trained at many different BJJ schools. I have been training on and off since 1995, I have been here for about 10 years now. The owner and head instructor, Jon Heleotis, definitely knows his stuff and knows how to effectively pass that information on to his students. He is very patient and super easy going. Jon is always willing to spend extra time to answer any questions or work on any issues I may be having.

The class environment is very comfortable, the mats are always clean. There are no egos here. There is just the right amount of encouragement and motivation. I highly recommend this school. If you are interested in BJJ, I suggest you come by and check it out.

Spartan Mixed Martial Arts is a great place to train and learn Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai Kickboxing. Jon Heleotis is an amazing instructor and certainly the best around. His attention to detail and personalized instruction for every student is unmatched regardless of skill level.

The training atmosphere encourages the beginner to learn and the more advanced student to excel. Whether you’re a beginner or a serious tournament competitor this academy is the place to train. Not only do I train here, but my 6 and 11 year old daughters are also part of the amazing Kids Jiu-Jitsu Program. The kids program provides an encouraging, safe and clean environment where kids acquire amazing skills while having fun! Overall the team is ego free, humble, encouraging and competitive. I highly recommend the Black Belt instruction provided by Jon.
