Spartan MMA Shines at NJBJJF Tournament

This past Sunday, September 22, Spartan Mixed Martial Arts took to the mats at the NJBJJF tournament, and our competitors delivered outstanding performances! Each athlete showcased incredible skill, determination, and the true Spartan spirit.

  • Jesse Slovenz dominated the black belt division, taking home 1st place.
  • Danny Rios battled hard in the blue belt division, earning a well-deserved 2nd place.
  • Evan Pescatore came out on top in the white belt division, securing 1st place.
  • Grace Hixon displayed tremendous heart, finishing 2nd in the women’s white belt division.

We’d also like to give an honorable mention to James Vincent and James Piehler, who fought exceptionally well, showcasing their relentless effort and growth.

We’re proud of every competitor for leaving it all on the mat and representing Spartan MMA with honor. Congratulations to all!
